Thursday’s action on DraftKings is headlined by a 4-game NBA slate, which locks at 7:00 p.m. ET. The featured contest is the NBA $400K Shootaround, which pays out $100k to first place. Set your lineups here: NBA $400K Shootaround [$100K to 1st].
Thursday’s two most expensive players on DraftKings, Lakers PG/SF LeBron James (groin) and 76ers C Joel Embiid (shoulder), are dealing with injuries. James has already been ruled out, while Embiid was forced to exit Wednesday’s game after just eight minutes, leaving his status uncertain as of Thursday morning.

LeBron James (groin) has been ruled out at Warriors — LeBron will miss this one with a sore left groin, which breaks open Thursday’s four-game slate from a value standpoint. Anthony Davis ($10,300) becomes essentially a must-play stud against the lowly Warriors, assuming he plays through his probable tag as he always does, and a ton of production falls to the rest of the roster. Dwight Howard ($4,100) is the next most expensive play on the Lakers, with every other play cheaper than $4,000. Lakers stacks should be popular. Stay tuned for updates on LeBron potentially missing any further time. LBJ’s next chance to play will come Saturday in Memphis. — Julian Edlow
Joel Embiid (shoulder) will not return to Wednesday’s game vs. Cavs — Embiid ($10,500; 4.5 DKFP) played just eight minutes against the Cavs before being removed and heading to the locker room. While he did return to the bench for a period in time, Embiid wound up being ruled out with what the 76ers termed a left shoulder sprain. Already playing without Ben Simmons (back), the 76ers would be in line for some major value plays on Thursday’s upcoming slate if Embiid’s forced to miss any time. As for Wednesday’s slate, getting a complete dud for over $10,000 is a tough beat for a lot of lineups. Embiid finished with just three points and a block in eight minutes. — Julian Edlow
Draymond Green (pelvic) is probable to play vs. Lakers — After missing the last two games, it looks like the Warriors will have Green ($5,500) back in action against the Lakers. As a DFS play, he makes for a risky target coming back from injury. There’s a decent chance Golden State could get blown out by Los Angeles and Green has been held to 27 DKFP or less in three of his last four games. With him back, Eric Paschall ($5,000) figures to return to a bench role and lose out on playing time. — Greg Ehrenberg
Other injury reports to come through as of Thursday morning include:
OUTDamian Lillard (groin), Ben Simmons (back), Kemba Walker (knee)
QUESTIONABLEVictor Oladipo (back)
PROBABLEAnthony Davis (calf)
