It’s no secret that the Houston Rockets have stumbled out-of-the-gate. A 4-7 record is not worthy of Western Conference Finalist royalty, let’s be honest.
Well, last night: vs. the rebuilding Portland Trail Blazers, Houston scored a measly 35 points in the first half and found themselves down 11 … at home … again.
Unlike various times this season, the Rockets battled back to make it a three-point game with only seconds remaining…
…when this happened:
WHAT ON EARTH? I don’t know what Corey Brewer just did BUT IT FRIGGIN WORKED — AND Houston won the game in overtime: 108-103!
Yes, they’re only 5-7 and yes it’s only one game … but, if the Rockets regain their Western Conference Finals form from the 2015 Playoffs here in the forseeable future: remember this as the moment that got Houston back on track.
