Joanna Jedrzejczyk is called “Joanna Champion” for a reason. The Polish strawweight is one of the UFC’s most-feared strikers, and she hasn’t lost in 14 professional mixed martial arts bouts.
Jedrzejczyk will make her sixth title defense Saturday night at UFC 217 against Rose Namajunas, who last had her shot at the belt in 2014, when she lost to Carla Esparza in the Ultimate Fighter Finale. Namajunas, the fourth-ranked strawweight contender, owns marquee wins over Paige VanZant, Michelle Waterson and Tecia Torres, and hopes to add Jedrzejczyk to that list.
UFC bantamweight Rob Font joined Tyler Sullivan in the DK Live studio to discuss what makes Jedrzejczyk such a special fighter and what Namajunas must do to strip the belt from her. You can see Font’s breakdown of the fight in the video player above.
