Happy Memorial Day, and thank you to all who’ve sacrificed to serve. The holiday brings us plenty of day game action, which means just a five-game slate for tonight. Here are my top-three stacks for this evening’s slate.

The Blue Jays have their big bats back in the lineup now, finally making them the dangerous offense we’re used to seeing. They’ll be at home today to face RHP Lisalverto Bonilla, who has a 6.17 ERA in four appearances this season. Things have the potential to get ugly.

Players to Consider

  • Josh Donaldson ($4,600)
  • Jose Bautista ($5,000)
  • Kendrys Morales ($3,600)
  • Justin Smoak ($3,800)
  • Troy Tulowitzki ($3,900)
  • Kevin Pillar ($3,700)

RHP Erasmo Ramirez is on the mound for the Rays, and although he’s having a good season against LHB, his history suggests that the home runs will start coming from the left side of the plate. Both Shin-Soo Choo and Rougned Odor have taken Ramirez deep before, so I’m looking to stack up those LHB at home in Texas.

Players to Consider

  • Shin-Soo Choo ($3,800)
  • Rougned Odor ($3,700)
  • Nomar Mazara ($4,400)
  • Joey Gallo ($4,100)
  • Jared Hoying ($2,800)
  • Jonathan Lucroy ($3,600)

The Rays are just such a solid, cheap, contrarian stack. They don’t seem to be on anyone’s mind in Texas against LHP Martin Perez, and they’re projected for 4.5 runs, yet SO cheap. If you want room to pay up for two top pitchers and some of the most expensive bats on the slate, mix in a few Rays’ bats and it shouldn’t be a problem. Current members of the Rays are hitting .358 against Perez, including 6-for-12 from Evan Longoria with three doubles and a bomb.

Players to Consider

  • Evan Longoria ($3,700)
  • Derek Norris ($2,700)
  • Tim Beckham ($2,800)
  • Daniel Robertson ($2,600)
  • Rickie Weeks ($2,900)
  • Steven Souza ($4,100)
