There are just seven games tonight as several teams have an off day on Monday. We also have weather concerns for three of the teams listed below, so make sure you keep an eye on the rain in Cincinnati and Atlanta. Here are my top-five teams to stack. The red-hot Astros have proven they can go off for 15+ runs on any given night. On a short slate, they clearly have the highest upside against RHP Ian Kennedy. Kennedy has a 5.12 ERA so far this season and has allowed multiple home runs in his career to Carlos Beltran and Brian McCann, also getting taken deep by Jose Altuve and Evan Gattis. All of those guys are in a good position tonight, and, honestly, every bat in the lineup should be in consideration.

Players to Consider

  • George Springer ($5,700)
  • Jose Altuve ($5,800)
  • Carlos Correa ($5,500)
  • Carlos Beltran ($4,600)
  • Brian McCann ($3,600)
  • Marwin Gonzalez ($4,800)

The Cardinals will face RHP Asher Wojciechowski, who’s allowed six runs in eight innings this season, close to his career ERA of 6.66. In a limited sample (30 at-bats) RHB are hitting .294 and have all three homers off Woj, so that’s probably the side of the plate you want to look the hardest at.

Players to Consider

  • Stephen Piscotty ($4,000)
  • Jedd Gyorko ($3,900)
  • Tommy Pham ($3,900)
  • Dexter Fowler ($4,400)
  • Yadier Molina ($3,800)
  • Matt Carpenter ($3,700)

Rookie RHP Nick Pivetta is on the mound for the Phillies tonight, sporting a 5.12 ERA and allowing opposing hitters to bat .325. He’s given up five bombs in just 19.1 innings so far this season, so it’s not a secret that the Atlanta bats are in a good spot. RHB are where I’m looking more specifically … they’re 18-for-49 against him with five doubles and all five of those homers.

Players to Consider

UPDATE: Adonis Garcia is NOT in the Braves’ lineup tonight.

  • Matt Kemp ($5,300)
  • Brandon Phillips ($3,400)
  • Tyler Flowers ($3,700)
  • Nick Markakis ($3,100)
  • Matt Adams ($3,700)
  • Adonis Garcia ($4,200)

The Phillies are projected for a shade under five runs, unlike all the teams above them projected for five-plus, but I love where they stand. Their lineup is nothing special, but that just provides value plays. They’ll square off with RHP Bartolo Colon and his 6.99 ERA. Righties and lefties are both smashing Colon so don’t worry much about handedness matchups.

Players to Consider

UPDATE: Cameron Rupp is NOT in the Phillies’ lineup tonight.

  • Cesar Hernandez ($3,500)
  • Aaron Altherr ($3,700)
  • Tommy Joseph ($3,400)
  • Cameron Rupp ($2,700)
  • Freddy Galvis ($2,700)
  • Maikel Franco ($3,200)

The Royals are projected for just 4.4 runs, but they’re going up against RHP Mike Fiers — who tends to give up almost all his runs courtesy of the long ball. Fiers’ 4.96 ERA isn’t great to begin with, but in 52 innings this season he’s already allowed 18 homers. That’s a lot of DKFP. Twelve of those bombs have come in just 91 at-bats to RHB, so starting there makes sense, although LHB are still targets as well.

Players to Consider

  • Lorenzo Cain ($3,700)
  • Salvador Perez ($2,900)
  • Jorge Bonifacio ($3,600)
  • Mike Moustakas ($4,100)
  • Eric Hosmer ($3,900)
  • Brandon Moss ($3,100)
