1. HOUSTON ASTROS

Houston’s looking at a projection of over six runs in Baltimore with Ubaldo Jimenez on the mound. The RHP is having a beyond brutal season, posting an ERA above seven, that jumps all the way up to 8.13 at home. The Astros might have the most feared lineup in baseball right now and hit .294 off Jimenez in his career.

Players to Consider

  • George Springer ($5,100)
  • Jose Altuve ($5,100)
  • Carlos Beltran ($4,200)
  • Josh Reddick ($4,400)
  • Brian McCann ($3,700)
  • Marwin Gonzalez ($4,400)

2. COLORADO ROCKIES

We’ve got a Coors game on the slate! The Rockies are projected for more than six and a half runs at home, going up against Trevor Williams of the Pirates. Williams’ ERA is over five on the road, and he gets hit pretty evenly by hitters from both sides of the plate. That keeps all options in play for these red-hot Rockies bats.

Players to Consider

  • Charlie Blackmon P ($5,700)
  • Nolan Arenado ($5,600)
  • Mark Reynolds ($4,700)
  • DJ LeMahieu ($4,500)
  • Gerardo Parra ($4,500)
  • Carlos Gonzalez ($3,500)

3. PITTSBURGH PIRATES

In the visitor’s dugout at Coors we have the Pirates, who are projected for a respectable 5.6 runs. Jeff Hoffman will toe the rubber for Colorado — a solid pitcher, but he just can’t keep bats in check at Coors (6.44 ERA vs. 2.45 on the road). The Pirates don’t have a ton of power, but you’d definitely want to start a stack with the guys that can go deep.

Players to Consider

  • Andrew McCutchen ($4,600)
  • Starling Marte ($4,300)
  • Josh Bell ($3,900)
  • Gregory Polanco ($3,600)
  • Josh Harrison ($3,700)
  • Francisco Cervelli ($3,300)

4. KANSAS CITY ROYALS

The Royals are projected for more than six runs at home against James Shields, with strong wind expected to be blowing out of the ballpark. LHB have been smashing Shields this season — .278 with eight of his 11 homers allowed. KC has plenty of LHB to throw at him and could be a great value stack.

Players to Consider

  • Eric Hosmer ($3,900)
  • Mike Moustakas ($3,600)
  • Brandon Moss ($2,700)
  • Alex Gordon ($2,300)
  • Salvator Perez ($3,600)
  • Lorenzo Cain ($3,600)

5. NEW YORK METS

The Mets are easy to overlook on this slate, but they’re still projected for nearly five and a half runs at home against an untested pitcher. Paul Blackburn of the A’s has been very good through his first three career starts, but it doesn’t feel sustainable. I like stacking up LHB against him, and they could come at low ownership.

Players to Consider

  • Michael Conforto ($4,400)
  • Jay Bruce ($4,200)
  • Lucas Duda ($4,000)
  • Yoenis Cespedes ($3,900)
  • Asdrubal Cabrera ($4,000)
  • T.J. Rivera ($3,700)
