WATCH: MLB TOP STACK

We’ve got a 10-game slate tonight, so there plenty of teams to choose from. The heavy hitters should be out tonight, so you’re going to have to pay up to stack them. Here are my top-five stacks.

1. Cleveland Indians

If you’ve been reading this article daily (or paying attention to baseball), you know that Arizona has been a fantastic place to look for stacks this season. Now the high-powered Indians offense comes to town projected for around 5.5 runs against Shelby Miller. Cleveland is already off to a 3-0 start after scoring 21 runs in its opening series at Texas.

Players to Consider

  • Edwin Encarnacion ($4,800)
  • Jose Ramirez ($4,300)
  • Carlos Santana ($4,700)
  • Francisco Lindor ($4,500)
  • Michael Brantley ($4,800)
  • Tyler Naquin ($3,800)

2. Arizona Diamondbacks

Let’s keep it in the same ballpark here because the Diamondbacks have made for a fantastic stack at home so far. In the four games they hosted the Giants, they combined for 27 runs scored, so they’ve been lighting it up every day. It’s important to note that Indians’ starter Josh Tomlin does have reverse splits, so RHB could have a little more pop than going with opposite-hand matchups.

Players to Consider

  • A.J. Pollock ($4,300)
  • David Peralta ($3,900)
  • Paul Goldschmidt ($5,300)
  • Yasmany Tomas ($4,100)
  • Jake Lamb ($4,200)
  • Chris Owings ($3,700)

3. Chicago Cubs

The Cubs are coming into a solid park to hit in in Milwaukee, and they will be facing Jimmy Nelson. Nelson’s a good-not-great pitcher, who is typically better at home. But the Cubs batting order has the ability to dominate any arm. Projected for over five runs in this one, the key will be picking the correct bats, as anyone in this order is capable of doing the damage.

Players to Consider

  • Kyle Schwarber ($5,000)
  • Anthony Rizzo ($5,500)
  • Ben Zobrist ($4,700)
  • Kris Bryant ($5,500)
  • Jason Heyward ($3,800)
  • Addison Russell ($4,100)

4. Texas Rangers

Raul Alcantara pitched only 22 innings last season, but that came over the span of five horrible starts in which he allowed 18 earned-runs and nine homers. Although the Rangers couldn’t get the best of the Indians, they did still score 14 runs in three games at home so far. The Texas lineup should be chomping at the bit to go off for a huge game.

Players to Consider

  • Carlos Gomez ($4,400)
  • Mike Napoli ($4,400)
  • Elvis Andrus ($4,300)
  • Rougned Odor ($4,800)
  • Shin-Soo Choo ($4,700)
  • Nomar Mazara ($4,100)

5. Houston Astros

No time for contrarian stacks on this kind of slate! The Astros were my top stack last night, and they didn’t produce anything really outside of another Springer home run. I expect them to bounce-back strong at home against a weak pitcher. Altuve, Beltran and Reddick have all homered off the Royals’ starter in the past.

Players to Consider

  • Jose Altuve ($5,200)
  • George Springer ($4,700)
  • Carlos Correa ($5,000)
  • Carlos Beltran ($4,000)
  • Alex Bregman ($4,200)
  • Josh Reddick ($3,800)
