Today’s targets will focus on the three game slate, which features some top pitching and some…not so top pitching. Any questions, please find me on Twitter @JasonWalker_72 — let’s do this!

Jake Arrieta – CHC at SFG – $9,800 – Arrieta has generated 27.2% soft contact over the last 30 days, tops on the slate and is pitching in pitcher friendly AT&T Park with a three runs against implied run total.

Madison Bumgarner – SFG vs. CHC – $12,300 – On the other side, there is Bumgarner, who is tops at 24.8% strikeouts minus Walks ratio. Like Arrieta, Bumgarner also finds himself against a three run implied total against the Cubs.

Clay Buchholz – BOS vs. CLE – $7,000 – The Indians are much weaker on the road against RHP. Buchholz has 23.70, 22.75 and 11.50 DK points against the Yankees (twice) and the Orioles at Camden Yards, which was a very tough matchup split this season.

Gio Gonzalez – WAS vs. LAD -$7,300 – Gio has been excellent over the past 30 days, with a 3.36 SIERA and 23.2% K-rate over that span. The Dodgers were dead last this season in wRC+ against LHP this season, with 72 and a .118 ISO over 1,800+ plate appearances.

Mookie Betts (OF) – BOS vs. CLE – $5,200 – Betts has a 173 wRC+, .258 ISO and .442 wOBA against RHP at home since July 1st (128 plate appearances). Since August 1st (53.1 IP), CLE SP Josh Tomlin has averaged only 5.23 K/9 IP and has given up 36% hard contact over the same span.

David Ortiz (1B) – BOS vs. CLE – $5,000 – Ortiz, in this split, has a 189 wRC+, .399 ISO and .406 wOBA over the entire season (258 PA). Boston has a 5.3 implied run total as well.

Carlos Santana (1B) – CLE at BOS -$4,700 – Santana is the only Indians batter than maintains his production against RHP on the road. Santana, in split, has a 131 wRC+ and .269 ISO with a 15% walk rate.

Trea Turner (2B/OF) – WAS vs. LAD – $5,300 – Tough matchup, but 161 wRC+ and .268 ISO at home vs. RHP this season with a .417 wOBA (131 PA).

Daniel Murphy (2B) – WAS vs. LAD – $5,100 – Murphy has a 159 wRC+ and .356 ISO against RHP at home this season with a .414 wOBA and will be batting third for the Nationals today.

Kris Bryant (3B/OF) – CHC at SFG – $4,100 – If you are going to play a one-off against Bumgarner, consider Bryant, who is massively discounted due to the matchup and has a 200 wRC+ and .333 ISO, with a .474 wOBA on the road against LHP this season.

Brock Holt (3B/OF) – BOS vs. CLE – $3,300 – He has been batting second in his 5.3 run implied lineup, and has a 123 wRC+ and .219 ISO since July 1st against RHP at home.

Hanley Ramirez (1B) – BOS vs. CLE – $3,700 – Love this as a tourney play pivot from Ortiz, as Ramirez has a 277 wRC+ and .615 ISO against RHP at home since September 1st (32 PA). Batting fifth with Betts/Ortiz in front of him, HanRam will be in places to rack up the points.

Anthony Rendon (3B) – WAS vs. LAD – $3,600 – Rendon, against RHP at home, has a 138 wRC+ and .312 ISO in 88 plate appearances and is batting fifth for the Nationals.
