A huge 14-game slate is set for tonight here on DraftKings. Let’s get you ready with some of my favorite players to target. As always, you can get me on the ol’ Twitter machine @SBuchanan24.

Stud

Luis Severino – NYY vs. TB – $8,800 – Severino feels extremely cheap tonight going up against a Rays team that leads the league in K%. Severino has essentially been boom-or-bust as late, as he’s scored -2.8, 28.8, 2.8 and 28.8 DK fantasy points in his last four games. Tonight though, he’ll face a Rays team that he scored 34.2 DK fantasy points against earlier this season with 11 strikeouts through seven innings. With this game taking place at Tropicana Field, you have to like Severino with the strikeout upside.

Other Options – Alex Wood ($9,400)

Value

Ariel Miranda – SEA vs. CWS – $6,700 – Miranda has been up and down this entire season, but one factor has remained consistent, his success at Safeco. In three home starts, Miranda is averaging 19.2 FPPG allowing only six run on 18 hits in 19.2 innings with a 15:3 K:BB ratio. The White Sox have hit lefties quite well thus far, but they are one of the worst teams on the road with a .292 wOBA and a 21.1 K%. For $6,700, Miranda is certainly worth a look.

Other Options – Charlie Morton ($8,700)

Catcher

Stud

Buster Posey – SFG vs. STL – $4,200 – Posey has been on a complete tear lately, averaging 12.1 FPPG over his last 10 games with five home runs and six RBI. Even though he faces Michael Wacha tonight, who has been fantastic at home, Posey has been one of the hottest hitters in the league as of late.

Other Options Evan Gattis- ($3,900)

Value

Alex Avila – DET vs. TEX – $3,200 – A Detroit stack is one of my favorites on the night and Avila is one of the players I’m mixing to go a little contrarian. He’s been hitting very well against righties at home, posting a .559 wOBA with a .750 SLG.

Other Options –Austin Barnes ($3,100)

First Base

Stud

Paul Goldschmidt – ARI vs. SD – $5,200 – The D-Backs are the lucky team to be facing Jered Weaver tonight. Surprisingly enough, Weaver has been his worst at Petco Park, a historically known pitchers’ park. Weaver has allowed a .460 wOBA at home with a .724 SLG and six of his 14 total home runs allowed.

Other Options – Jay Bruce ($4,600), Kendrys Morales ($4,100)

Second Base

USATSI_10049572_168381090_lowres

Stud

Daniel Murphy – WAS vs. PIT – $4,700 – When isn’t Murphy one of the top second basemen on the night? He takes on R.A. Dickey at SunTrust Park tonight where he’s allowed a .326 wOBA with a .462 SLG and four of his nine home runs. Murphy has thrived in these matchups, owning a .433 wOBA and a .657 SLG.

Other Options – Chris Taylor ($3,700)

Value

Neil Walker – NYM vs. LAA – $3,900 – Walker has been so hot and cold this season it’s hard to get a good read on him. Honestly, all I’m looking for with Walker is a home run off of Nolasco tonight. Walker has been mediocre at best at Citi Field, but his spot near the heart of the Mets’ lineup can always bring us good fortune.

Other Options – Yangervis Solarte ($3,500)

Third Base

Stud

Jake Lamb – ARI vs. SD – $4,700 – I have to go with another D-Back tonight with their matchup against Weaver. It still amazes me how bad Weaver has been, even posting a .369 wOBA against lefties at home with a .500 SLG. Lamb has crushed righties on the road this season, posting a .480 wOBA with a .727 SLG with three of his nine total home runs.

Other Options – Nolan Arenado ($5,200)

Value

Marwin Gonzalez – HOU vs. CLE – $3,600 – Gonzalez has been one of my favorite value plays all season long, and I’m hoping for more of that again tonight. Gonzalez takes on Trevor Bauer, who has been knocked around be lefties all season. Bauer owns a .460 wOBA on the road against lefties with a .703 SLG and three of his eight home runs allowed.

Other Options – Nick Castellanos ($3,700)

Shortstop

USATSI_10063726_168381090_lowres

Stud

Jean Segura – SEA vs. CWS – $4,100 – Segura hasn’t seen many lefties at Safeco Field yet this season, so I’ll jump into his overall numbers against them. He’ll enter tonight with a .388 wOBA with a .500 OBP. Segura isn’t a big power guy, but Quintana has been struggling against righties. Coming into this start, Quintana owns a .342 wOBA against them with all six of his home runs allowed and a .435 SLG.

Other Options – Trea Turner ($5,000)

Value

Zack Cozart – CIN vs. COL – $3,800 – Cozart has hit left-handed pitching very well this season, thus making his matchup against Tyler Anderson an enticing one. Cozart enters this game with a .489 wOBA against lefties at home with a .778 SLG and a .421 SLG. Hitting near the top of the order at just $3,800 makes him a fantastic value play.

Other Options – Elvis Andrus ($3,600)

Outfield

Stud

J.D. Martinez – DET vs. TEX – $4,700 – No one is hotter than Martinez at the plate right now, as the Tigers’ outfielder has hit five home runs in his first six games of the season. He’ll have a great opportunity to continue that streak tonight as he takes on Nick Martinez at home. Martinez hasn’t pitched much this season, but he’s already allowing a .470 wOBA on the road that jumps up to a .522 against righties. In 11.1 road innings, Martinez has allowed five home runs with three of those coming off a right-handed bat.

Other Options – Bryce Harper ($5,600), Michael Conforto ($4,500)

Value

Josh Reddick – HOU vs. CLE – ($3,600) – Reddick is a cheap option with a fantastic matchup tonight against Trevor Bauer. As I mentioned, Bauer has struggled against lefties, allowing a .405 wOBA with a .620 SLG and a .354 OBP with six of his eight home runs allowed. Meanwhile, Reddick has flourished at home this season, owning a .477 wOBA against righties with a .711 SLG and a .440 OBP.

Other Options – Shin-Soo Choo ($3,900) Franklin Gutierrez ($3,500)
