Another Sunday, another 15-game slate of MLB games. We have another Coors Field matchup, which is obviously projected to be a run fest. We also get the Cubs against Alfredo Simon today, an always enticing option. There are a lot of good matchups today, so let’s hop in and find some value.

MLB: Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves

Stephen Strasburg (RHP) – Was vs. MIN– $11,500 – Strasburg will cost you a lot, but he showed us during his last outing why he is worth the money. He had 39 DKFP against the Marlins and could replicate this showing against the Twins today. Strasburg has a .125 ERA and a .923 WHIP on the season. He has done this in 21 innings. Do you really need anymore convincing?

Carlos Carrasco (RHP) – CLE vs. DET– $11,000 – Carrasco is 2-0 on the season, but also has put together a nice 2.79 ERA. He has a .670 OPS on the season. He has a nice track record against the Tigers with only Miguel Cabrera showing some success against him. With most people looking to Strasburg, Carrasco makes a nice contrarian play.

Jason Hammel (RHP) – CHC vs. CIN – $7,900 – Hammel has already faced the Reds once this season and put up 18.7 DKFP. Hammel has a 1.0 ERA in 18 innings, and he should be in line for the win with Alfredo Simon toeing the rubber for the other team. Hammel is a nice, cheap play, which will allow us to spend up for our hitters.

Mike Leake (RHP) – STL vs. SD – $7,800 – Leake has been somewhat inconsistent in the early going. However, he has pitched better of late, and he is a in a good spot to get his first win of the season today. The Cardinals are favored at -115 and the run total is low. I will have some Leake exposure, as I feel he is trending up.

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Rockies

Trevor Story (SS) – COL vs. LAD– $5,200 – The Rockies are at home (Coors Field), everybody hop on the train. This game is projected at an 11 run total, and Story should definitely play a role. The rookie has cooled off in his last 3 games, but regression no more. Story should utilize his handedness wOBA of .500 and his ISO of .470 to get in on the action today.

Corey Seager (SS) – LAD vs. COL – $4,800 – I know, I’m still targeting Coors batters, but how can I stay away. Seager put up 25 DKFP at Coors two games ago and has a handedness wOBA of .400 today.

Josh Donaldson (3B) – TOR vs. OAK – $5,300 – Donaldson is my favorite cash game play. He went 3 for 4 last game with a homer and 30 DKFP. He gets lefty Surkamp in this one and has a handedness wOBA of .470. I will never turn against Donaldson.

Jose Altuve (2B) – HOU vs. BOS – $5,100 – 19 DKFP his last outing and a .400 handedness wOBA. The Astros are projected to score 4.6 runs, and Altuve should be involved. Altuve is hitting .314 with a SLG% of .629, I’ll take this any day.

Jose Bautista (OF) – TOR vs. OAK – $4,500 – Bautista has really cooled over his last four games with no DKFP scoring in double digits. However, I like a Blue Jays stack, and I will talk his .390 handedness wOBA. I will definitely have exposure to Bautista and Donaldson today.

Chase Utley (2B) – LAD vs. COL – $4,300 – We are back to Coors and back to a lot of runs. Utley has back-to-back double digit games in Colorado and has a .390 handedness wOBA. He also has a 1.205 OPS against Lyles lifetime, yes please!

Dexter Fowler (OF) CHC vs. CIN – $4,900 – Fowler is on fire hitting .348 over the last week. The Cubs are projected to wreck the Reds again today, and Fowler should add to his string of DKFP scoring. He does have a negative handedness wOBA, but he is too hot to ignore right now.

Anthony Rizzo (1B) – CHC vs. CIN – $5,200 – Rizzo put up a dud his last game, but he put up 15+ DKFP in 3 games before that. He has a handedness wOBA of .390 and has a .333 BA against Simon lifetime. I will definitely have a Cubs stack today, as well.

Michael Saunders (OF) – TOR vs. OAK– $3,600 – Saunders is affordable and has double digit DKFP scoring in the last 3 games. He has a .440 handedness wOBA and a .330 ISO. I like him as part of my Jays stack today.

Jason Heyward (OF) – CHC vs. CIN – $4,200 – Heyward has also strung together a nice 3-game performance. He is one of the cheaper Cubs today, but will make my stack. He has a .360 handedness wOBA, and, for me, I think Heyward is only a tournament option.

DJ LeMahieu (2B) – COL vs. CHC – $4,300 – His price has gone up, but his scoring has gone down. However, he still plays in Coors and is part of the massive run total tonight. He has a handedness wOBA of .360 and a .600 OPS lifetime against Wood.

Ezequiel Carrera (OF) – TOR vs. OAK – $3,100 – Carrera put up 25 DKFP in his last outing. He has a handedness wOBA of .320 and will make for a sneaky addition to the Jays stack. I will have exposure if he makes the lineup today.

Justin Turner (3B) – LAD vs. COL – $4,100 – Turner has a .380 handedness wOBA, and he is also in Coors today. Turner has a 1.100 OPS against Lyles and is a nice BvP play (yes, I used BvP).

Carlos Santana (OF) – CLE vs. DET – $3,800 – Santana has been hot over his last 2 games. He has had 19 and 10 DKFP respectively. I like his .340 handedness wOBA, and I think he will fly in under the radar today.

Yasmani Grandal (CATCH) – LAD vs. COL – $4,000 – Grandal has a .750 OPS lifetime against Lyles. He was out the last game, but he should be back in today and using his .360 handedness wOBA to produce.

Ryan Raburn (OF) – COL vs. CHC – $3,700 – Make sure Raburn is in the lineup, but I love his .370 handedness wOBA and price today. He had a dud his last game out, but will look to right the ship today in a plus matchup.
