MLB PERFECT LINEUP

PL 95

NOTES:

-The Giants have struggled in Coors this weekend up until last night when Gregor Blanco and Angel Pagan had big nights and earned their place in the MLB Perfect Lineup.

-It was a night where the popular plays came through for the most part. Every player in the MLB Perfect Lineup was at least 3% owned on DraftKings.

-Shawn O’Malley was an under the radar superstar last night – dropping 25 fantasy points at the DraftKings minimum salary of $2000.

-After four starts with 12 or fewer fantasy points, Gio Gonzalez bounced back nicely against a struggling Braves lineup with a huge 33.9 fantasy point effort.

Ervin Santana has now strung together back-to-back starts with at least 35 fantasy points and was in the Perfect Lineup for his 2nd consecutive start as well.

TOP 20 FANTASY POINT SCORERS

Highest Performers

NOTES:

-It was a night highlighted by Pitchers and Outfielders. 9 Pitchers were in the Top 20 overall scorers and 8 players with outfield eligibility were in the Top 20 overall.

-Beyond that, Pitchers accounted for 8 of the Top 10 scoring players.

-The Mariners were the highest scoring team on average last night. King Felix had a solid start and the team overall averaged 12.9 fantasy points per player.

-The White Sox were the 2nd highest scoring team on average with 10.96 fantasy points per player.

-Indians were a huge disappointment. Despite being relatively highly owned as a team, they scored just 1.53 fantasy points per player (the lowest of the night).

TOP 20 HIGHEST OWNED PLAYERS

highest owned

NOTES:

-Rockies at the friendly confines of Coors Field continue to be incredibly popular. Four Rockies were in the Top 10 highest owned players and as a team they were 9.03% owned on average which was the highest of the night.

-The Rockies went out and averaged just 3.84 fantasy points per player, making their team on the whole the biggest disappointment of the night.

The Twins were the lowest owned team of the night at just 1% owned against Houston. The Braves were right behind them at 1.11% owned on average.

-The only non-Rockies batter in the Top 10 highest owned player was Yoenis Cespedes at 19.9% owned.

TOP 20 VALUE PLAYS

Value Plays

1 – Value Plays defined by top 20 players in terms of $/Pt (salary divided by total fantasy points).

NOTES:

-Higher owned players ended up in the Perfect Lineup but the best value plays were very under the radar. The Top 4 values were all under 1% owned and 5 of the Top 6 were under 1% owned.

-The Mariners were both the highest scoring team of the night and the best value, averaging $290.96 DK dollars spent per fantasy point scored.

-The Indians were the worst $/Pt team last night, averaging $2781 DK dollars spent per fantasy point scored.
