Last night was a little better and definitely more predictable for daily fantasy baseball purposes. We had the Arizona and Seattle stacks produce, as both teams put up over 10 runs. The Tigers also came through with 8 runs and played in a back and forth game with the Marlins. The disappointment of the night came from the Giants, who proved to us that Jimmy Nelson was a lot better than Wily Peralta, and they only put up 2 runs in a great spot. We have a nice 7 game slate tonight and definitely have some good options for us to stack it up.
Projected Team Total: 4.5 Runs
This game is projected at 8.5 runs, with the Orioles heavily favored. Kyle Gibson had a WHIP of 1.32 last year and carried a low SO per game average. He had a .693 OPS against righties and a .703 OPS against lefties. The Orioles have a Team-wOBA of .325 and a Team-ISO of .185. Even though there aren’t a bunch of lefties on the squad, Chris Davis should be able to bring the boom down on Gibson. I also like Matt Wieters and Manny Machado as they both have positive wOBA against Gibson.
Projected Team Total: 4.3 Runs
The Nationals should have another chance to demolish a mediocre Braves team tonight. Even though Turner Park is good for strikeouts, the Nationals are loaded with lefties to tee off on Bud Norris tonight. Norris had a 1.69 WHIP and averaged 8 SOs a game (a little misleading due to the home field). He also had a .360 OPS versus righties and a .362 OPS versus lefties. I love the Team-WOBA of .310 and think that we should see over the 7.5 Vegas total. I think a Bryce Harper, Ben Revere, Daniel Murphy stack may be in order.
Projected Team Total: 4.15 Runs
This game is projected as the 2nd highest total of the night at 8 runs. The Reds pulled through for us on opening day with 6 runs and are heavily favored in this matchup. Aaron Nola is a righty that had a decent .120 WHIP last season. He also had a .260 OPS against righties and a .360 OPS against left handed batters. Great American Ballpark is a great HR park for lefties and righties (ranking 1st in the league for right handed batters). Joey Votto and Jay Bruce could become a lineup staple for me tonight.
Projected Team Total: 3.85 Runs
Vegas has the total in this one set at 7.5 and the Pirates should do most of the scoring. With a Team-wOBA of .316, the Pirates will be looking to crush Leake. Mike Leake carries a low strikeout average, but is usually pretty consistent with a 1.17 WHIP last season. He also had a .277 OPS versus RHB and a .305 versus LHB. PNC park is not really a hitters park, but you have to feel like the home team will have the advantage. Gregory Polanco and Andrew McCutchen are in play tonight.

Projected Team Total: 4.1 Runs
I think most people will be on the Orioles in this matchup and will forget about the Twins. Like I said above this game has the highest total on the night and somebody has to score. Gallardo is not very good, with a 1.45 WHIP and a .729 OPS in 2015. The Twins have a Team-ISO of .152 and a Team-wOBA of .301 against a righty. Even though they are righties, I like Miguel Sano and Joe Dozier tonight. I also think Joe Mauer will round out the stack nicely.
Projected Team Total: 3.6 Runs
This game only has a projected total of 7 runs, which turns me off a little. However, I love the Team-wOBA of .319 and the Team-ISO of .166. Cashner has the ability to strike guys out, but carries a 1.472 WHIP into this season. He has a .669 OPS against RHB and a .896 OPS against LHB. I like a 1-4 stack tonight as Chase Utley, Corey Seager, Josh Turner, and Adrian Gonzalez could all do some damage.
