MLB Arcade Mode will bring us a small three-game slate tonight, so let’s dive into all the information. As always, you can reach me on the ol’ Twitter machine @SBuchanan24.

Pitchers

Chris Sale – BOS vs. MIN – $22,000- Fitting in Sale will prove to be quite difficult tonight, but he’s the top pitcher on this short three-game slate. He faces off against the Twins, who have the lowest projected run total of the night at 3.6. Sale has been pitching much better as of late, averaging 62.7 Arcade Mode points over his last three starts with a 27:2 K:BB ratio. The Twins have been average at best against lefties, owning a .314 wOBA against lefties with a 19.9 K%.

Jose Berrios – MIN vs. BOS – $17,000- I’m a bit surprised the Red Sox are currently tabbed with the highest projected run total of the night against Berrios at 5.2 runs. I have to admit, I’m not sure the reason why, as Berrios has been pitching very well since his call-up. The Red Sox haven’t exactly been crushing it at Fenway Park this season, owners of a .329 wOBA with a .411 SLG and a K% of 17.1. It’s a bit of a risky play, but on a short slate like tonight, I think he’s worth considering.

Hitters

Anthony Rizzo – CHC vs. WAS – $8,500 – I don’t know how or why Rizzo is only at $8,500, but let’s rejoice. Averaging 27.5 Arcade Mode points in his last 10 games, Rizzo will take on Gio Gonzalez at Nationals Park tonight. Spending the majority of his time hitting at the top of the Cubs’ lineup, Rizzo owns a .439 wOBA in the leadoff spot with a .714 SLG with four his 17 home runs. Aside from that, he’s been hitting lefties exceptionally well, posting a .422 wOBA with a .625 SLG.

Shin-Soo Choo – TEX vs. CLE – $7,500 – Carlos Carrasco has been getting walloped by lefties at home, so Choo feels like a natural fit for our lineups tonight. Lefties have been posting a .346 wOBA against Carrasco at Progressive Field with a .516 SLG with five of his nine home runs. Choo isn’t necessarily looked at as a power bat, but he has 12 home runs on the year, splitting them evenly with six at home and six on the road. His price tag won’t cripple you either, making him a really interesting pick this evening.

Kris Bryant – CHC vs. WAS – $8,000 – Bryant hasn’t exactly been crushing the ball lately, but he has great numbers on the road against left-handed pitching. Posting a .576 wOBA in these matchups with a .880 SLG, he’ll matchup up with Gio Gonzalez tonight.

Brain Goodwin – WAS vs. CHC – $6,500 – Goodwin has been swinging a hot bat as of late and continues to dwell in the value range of salaries. Over his last 10 games, Goodwin is averaging 30.8 fantasy points with three home runs, seven RBI and three doubles. At home against righties, Goodwin is posting a .512 wOBA in limited action, with a .824 SLG and a .476 OBP.
