Last night, the red-hot New York Mets and their suddenly blood magic Temple of Doom offense were going for the sweep in Philadelphia — and in the bottom of the 10th inning: #MetsVoodoo struck again in what will go down as certainly one of, if not the play of the year in the MLB.

The weirdness didn’t stop there…

In the top of the 13th inning. A Mets relief pitcher got an infield hit. Then, the ball seemingly refused to bounce the Phillies’ way. The game was playing out like some witch was mumbling hex spells on them through their freshman year latptop or something.

This play shouldn’t have counted by the way…

…but I think we can all agree that this is par for the course when #WeirdBaseball is in effect.

Anyways: New York went on to win the game 9-5 in 13 innings, and if you aren’t praying to Jobu right now to spare your team vs. these good-fortune Mets…
