Didn’t play yesterday because of NFL obviously, but had a really good Saturday night.
Best scores in a while. Got to keep that momentum going to close out the season.
-I usually like taking cheaper pitchers and loading up on big bats – it’s more fun that way. But I don’t think I can pass on Kershaw tonight, even at this crippling price. Just too good right now and too good a matchup against Colorado.
-If you’re not paying up in the mid 15’s for Kershaw, I think Cole Hamels is a good high upside option in the next tier. I have him slightly ahead of Carrasco and Gray.
–Richards and Zimmerman are a little pricey for me for their limited upside, but when you compare them to Kershaw they seem like a huge bargain.
-I would have loved to take a shot on Nola tonight against the ice cold Nats, but it seems like DraftKings had the same idea, putting his price up at 8.3K. That’s a tough price point.
-Two high risk, high reward guys – Eduardo Rodriguez on the Sox and Duffey on the Twins. Look at their matchups – 50/50 shot they dazzle with a 12K performance or get crushed and knocked out of the game in the 3rd.
-The way the Mets have their magic going I honestly think pairing Logan Verrett up with Kershaw is the move for me tonight – yeah he’s just making a spot start, but who says he won’t mow everybody down again?
Going 3 value plays for you tonight to help you load up on big arms.
OF Aaron Hicks $3.6K
First timer in the Kmarko picks right here, but feeling real good about it. The Twins are a top 4 offense to target tonight and a sneaky stack option – not sure if I’m going that route, but I am definitely going to stick Hicks in my lineup. Great upside for this price point against a crappy, crappy pitcher. Hunter, Dozier, Nunez all good options to take a look at, but Hicks is my main guy from this game tonight.
1B/2B Logan Forsythe $3.5K
Here’s the deal, I’m well aware that I can never get on the right side of Forsythe. I’ve featured him here 4 or 5 times, and I think only one of those times did he crack double digits. Then he hits a home run the next night, every time, without fail. But I refuse to let my bad luck dictate my picks to me so I’m going Logan Forsythe right in your god damn face. He crushes lefties and he’s got a washed up CC tonight in a game that the Rays are supposed
to put up a bunch of runs. That’s just a smart play on paper right there folks.
SS Corey Seager $3.5K
Stuck this kid on my team the other night and he promptly put up 40 points. That’s what we like to call love at first rostering. Assuming he’s in the lineup tonight, I love his shot of putting up 15-20 points against Gray. The Dodgers are a great offense to target tonight (which kind of scares me, because you know I hate the Dodgers in these situations), but Seager is a great value play in my book.
Good luck tonight, hit me up @kmarkobarstool with your plays of the night. Also use my referral code if you’re depositing so we can both get hooked up.
