The Orioles smashed 5 homeruns yesterday against the Royals but 1 in particular was the smashiest of all. Jonathon Schoop did the damn thing and blasted a ball jusssst (almost) outside of Kauffman Stadium. Statcast has it as the 2nd longest homerun of the season but watching it live it looked like it was one of the longest ever.
With the Blue Jays finally deciding to play baseball past August, those Baltimore Birds are gonna need to reign in WAY more longballs starting like NOW. Does anybody know if Crush Davis and JJ Hardy are still alive? Anybody? Bueller?
PS: Bark at the Park in Cincinnatti looked AWESOME and probably/definitely way more fun than the All-Star Game..
