What a cold, cruel world this is huh? Michael Taylor blasts a 2 run homerun FIVE HUNDRED FEET to tie up the game and yet the Nationals still lose. Quite a fall from grace for the team that was supposed to give Bryce Harper his ring back in March. Guess that’s why they play the actual games.
If Giancarlo Stanton was healthy all year he probably would’ve had a 550 footer at some point. But gotta give credit where it’s due, Michael Taylor Thomas RAKES. At least Nationals fans can be pumped about watching him in center field for the next decade. Maybe they’ll even advance to the NLCS by then too… YEA Nattitude!!!
.@Taylor_Michael3 launches longest blast @statcast has tracked this year, a MAJESTIC 493 feet. http://t.co/sjMxdz9OaM pic.twitter.com/2Uel1YDpht — MLB (@MLB) August 21, 2015
PS: The reverse Nationals aka Houston Astros are still killing it this season. Would be pretty cool to see them make the playoffs considering they were a legit dumpster fire for the past decade. Hopefully they save some of this magic for then too…
He definitely practices that. http://t.co/px7wp6okg5 pic.twitter.com/YBbJCC8Vu5 — MLB GIFS (@MLBGIFs) August 21, 2015
