Another midweek slate that includes a nationally televised game (Toronto FC/ New York City FC) and a clash between two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. As we look at today’s MLS Game Breakdown I will be analyzing some injury concerns and look for potential breakout players. Toronto FC @ New York City FC
Game Analysis
Both teams come into this game in horrible form as New York City FC have lost three straight games and see both David Villa and Iraola on the injury listed as questionable. Luckily they return home this Wednesday to face a Toronto FC team who are riding a two game losing streak of their own. Their main injury concern is still Jackson who is questionable with a quad injury, but the good news is that Giovinco looks to be fully fit. On paper this looks like a favorable matchup for Toronto FC’s attack but home-field advantage may play a role yet again to determine an outcome in MLS.
Line: (Pick) O/U: 3 ½ (o: Even, u: -125)

Players to Watch
* Michael Bradley, Toronto FC ($8,000)
* Sebastian Giovinco, Toronto FC ($13,200)
* Kwadwo Poku, New York City FC ($6,000)
* Angelino, New York City FC ($5,100)

New York Red Bulls @ New England Revolution
Game Analysis
In the most intriguing matchup on Wednesday the New York Red Bulls will travel to New England in a crucial Eastern conference game. With a win for New England they would jump ahead of the first place Red Bulls and shake up the Eastern conference yet again. Unfortunately for New England, Jermaine Jones will be suspended for this match joining the injured Darius Barnes on the sideline. As for the Red Bulls Chris Duvall and Roy Miller are there only injury concerns but I wouldn’t be surprised if the lineup looks a little different on Wednesday with another game this weekend.
Line: New England Revolution (-1/2) O/U: 3 (o: -110, u: -115)

Players to Watch
* Sacha Kljestan, New York Red Bulls ($9,000)
* Bradley Wright-Phillips, New York Red Bulls ($12,000)
* Lee Nguyen, New England Revolution ($9,400)
* Diego Fagundez, New England Revolution ($6,800)

Montreal Impact @ San Jose Earthquakes
Game Analysis
In the final match on Wednesday, Montreal will travel to San Jose in a must win game for the Earthquakes. Montreal left a majority of their first team squad at home as Didier Drogba, Ignacio Piatti, Marco Donadel, and Evan Bush will all be out. Also defender Laurent Ciman will be serving the final game of his suspension. I expect San Jose to capitalize on Montreal’s absences with the potential return of Victor Bernardez to help solidify the defense. I expect Chris Wondolowski and Quincy Amarikwa to have very impactful games and both should be considered in all fantasy formats especially at home. We can never predict what actually will happen in Major League Soccer but this looks like a sure win for San Jose
Line: San Jose Earthquakes (-1) O/U: 2 ½ (o: -105, u: -115)

Players to Watch
* Dominic Oduro, Montreal Impact ($8,200)
* Andres Romero, Montreal Impact ($6,000)
* Chris Wondolowski, San Jose Earthquakes ($9,200)
* Quincy Amarikwa, San Jose Earthquakes ($7,200)
