Although I assume that Sunday’s two game MLS slate will be overlooked due to Week 1 of the NFL season, don’t forget to set your lineups ahead of the 5:00 PM EST start. As we look at today’s MLS Game Breakdown I will be analyzing some injury concerns and look for potential breakout players. Also follow me on Twitter (@jwl_15) for injury and lineup updates throughout the day.

New England Revolution @ Toronto FC
Game Analysis
New England are in a great run of form, winning five of their last six matches, moving them into fourth place in the Eastern Conference with two games in hand. Even better for them is that they have no injury concerns to worry about, meaning they should have their top and most consistent squad out there on Sunday with the return of Jermaine Jones from international duty. As for Toronto FC, they are in a world of trouble right now with injuries, suspensions, and the threat of Montreal breathing down their back in the Eastern Conference standings. As I mentioned, Collen Warner will be suspended for this match on Sunday and will likely be joined by Benoit Cheyrou, Sebastian Giovinco, Jackson, Nick Hagglund, and Damien Perquis on the sideline with injuries. This will be the first time these teams face off this year north of the border, and given how crucial home field advantage is, I expect Toronto FC to at least put a scare in New England.
Line: Toronto FC (-1) O/U: 3 (o: +110, u: -135)

Players to Watch
* Lee Nguyen, New England Revolution ($9,400)
* Diego Fagundez, New England Revolution ($6,600)
* Jozy Altidore, Toronto FC ($7,700)
* Michael Bradley, Toronto FC ($7,700)

Sporting KC @ Orlando City SC
Game Analysis
Things went from bad to worse for Orlando City SC during the international break, as Kaka returned from Brazil with a leg injury that will likely force him to the sideline for a couple weeks. He could be joined by Corey Ashe, Darwin Ceren, Seb Hines, and Brek Shea as they are all in question with their respective injuries. They haven’t won in six straight matches and Sporting KC is likely not the team they want to face to try to break that spell. As for Sporting KC, they are in a slump of their own as they are without a win in four straight games. The injury to Roger Espinoza has been difficult to deal with and he will still be out with that foot injury. Defenders Chance Myers and Saad Abdul-Salaam will both be questionable, but Seth Sinovic looks ready to return to the starting eleven. I expect Orlando City SC to come out strong in front of their home fans, but Sporting KC’s depth and skill with overmatch them in the end.
Line: (Pick) O/U: 2 ½ (o: -115, u: -105)
