New York City FC @ Columbus Crew
Game Analysis
New York City FC come into this game only one point behind the Montreal Impact for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, Montreal has three games in hand, meaning NYCFC need to win games if they want a chance to make the playoffs in their inaugural season. Two of their biggest stars linked up for a goal last week as Andrea Pirlo’s pinpoint pass lead to an easy finish for David Villa. Kwadwo Poku and Thomas McNamara are lesser known names, but both have been very important to the team’s recent success as each scored goals against DC United. With Frank Lampard in doubt, they will once again be relied on to make an impact against a very healthy Columbus Crew side. Kei Kamara will look to inch closer to the 20 goal mark, but he is one yellow card away from a suspension. The Crew are heavy favorites at home, but New York City FC will not back down as they push toward the playoffs for the first time.
Line: Columbus Crew (-1) O/U: 3 (o: -125, u: -105)

Players to Watch
* Kei Kamara, Columbus Crew ($11,400)
* Ethan Finlay, Columbus Crew ($8,800)
* David Villa, New York City FC ($13,100)
* Kwadwo Poku, New York City FC ($5,200)

San Jose Earthquakes @ Sporting KC
Game Analysis
Sporting KC has won four of their last six games and stand only three points behind the LA Galaxy for first place in the Western Conference, with four games in hand. They stormed back for a dramatic 4-3 win over Vancouver last weekend with two late goals from Paulo Nagamura. Nagamura is expect to fill in once again with Roger Espinoza still out with a foot injury. Seth Sinovic, Jalil Anibaba, and Ike Opara are still out with injuries, and Graham Zusi may join them as he is questionable with a calf injury. As for San Jose, they are heavy underdogs on Wednesday due to their current form away from home. The Earthquakes have lost their last three road games and have a -9 goal differential away from San Jose this season. Jordan Stewart was given devastating news after he tore his left Achilles tendon last weekend and will miss the remainder of the season. His absence will do wonders for Sporting KC in attack, as if they needed any help in the first place. I expect Sporting KC to win handily and possible make some changes to their lineup as they rest up for a big weekend match against the Columbus Crew.
Line: Sporting KC (-1) O/U: 2 (o: -210, u: +165)
