In this small two game slate that carries over to Monday afternoon, top players are going to be hard to come by for your lineup. In today’s EPL Targets I will be analyzing some of the best plays for this slate of games and point out some of the best values based on price. Sunday-Monday’s Contests

Tim Howard – ($4,800) – Everton – Howard earned his third clean sheet of the season last weekend against Swansea City. They now will travel to West Brom in search of another win. West Brom saw Saido Berahino return to the starting lineup with Jose Rondon, creating a new dynamic in their attack. That being said, they have only scored four goals all season and Everton have only given up one goal in their last three games. Howard is likely the strongest goalkeeper for this small slate of games.

Heurelho Gomes – ($4,800) – Watford – Gomes earned his second win on the season last weekend and picked up his third double digit performance in his last four starts. Crystal Palace are scoreless in their last two matches and will have a difficult matchup against Watford at home. Gomes has been great since returning to the Premier League after his previous stint with Tottenham went very poor. Gomes is also a great play on Sunday in this small two game slate.

Alex McCarthy – ($4,300) – Crystal Palace – McCarthy has yet to record a clean sheet this season, but he does have double digit points in three straight games. He has made 18 saves over the same three games and will look to continue his strong play against Watford on Sunday. Although he may not pick up the clean sheet bonus, you can always rely on McCarthy to make plenty of saves when needed.

Allan Nyom – ($3,900) – Watford – Nyom has struggled to get into an attacking positions over the past few weeks, but he is still one of the strongest plays on Sunday. Crystal Palace has given up at least one goal in each game this season and play a very attacking style. Nyom has the pace to defend the likes of Bakary Sako, Jason Puncheon, and Wilfried Zaha throughout the game, and will likely use that as an advantage on the counter attacks.

Papa Souare – ($3,500) – Crystal Palace – Souare is very similar to Nyom, as both use their pace and strength to their advantage. Souare hasn’t put up great numbers this season so far, but he is a strong play in a slate with very little talent in defense. Crystal Palace should be able to play their attackers in a more advanced role, which will only help Papa Souare.

Brandon Galloway – ($3,100) – Everton – Galloway has filled in nicely as Everton have been dealing with serious injuries to Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines. He has scored double digit points in two straight games and looked dangerous at times in attack last weekend. At his price and the attacking style that Everton play, Galloway should be a very popular play on Monday.

Martin Kelly – ($2,600) – Crystal Palace – Kelly has had to fill in at fullback the last two weeks for the injured Joel Ward. He has only scored four points in each of his two starts, but both games were against top of the table sides. Crystal Palace face Watford on Sunday, which should give the fullbacks a little more freedom to get forward and help the pacey wingers ahead of them in attack.

Ross Barkley – ($8,000) – Everton – Barkley has been spectacular this season as the young midfielder continues to show why Everton stuck with him through his inconsistencies over the last few years. Barkley has two goals and three assists on the season, and is very influential on everything Everton do in attack. West Brom have surprisingly been decent in defence, recording three straight clean sheets, but they did give up three goals to the same Chelsea team that Everton beat 3-1 just two weeks ago.

Jason Puncheon – ($6,100) – Crystal Palace – Puncheon struggled to get into the game over the last few weeks against the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham, and Chelsea. He was forced to play a more defensive role that affected his ability to influence the attack. Expect him to play the more advanced role that produced two 13+ point performances before Crystal Palace’s difficult stretch of games.

James Morrison – ($5,000) – West Brom – Morrison has been in great form since he scored his brace against Chelsea. He picked up an assist and his second double digit point performance last weekend against Aston Villa. West Brom now return home on Monday against an Everton team that haven’t given up a goal on the road all season. Morrison will look to change that as he now has both Saido Berahino and Jose Rondon as threats in front of him.

Bakary Sako – ($5,700) – Crystal Palace – As most Crystal Palace attacking players did, Sako struggled to get into the game offensively against both Manchester City and Tottenham. We have all seen what Sako is capable of when he is on his day and expect Watford to provide easier competition than their previous opponents. As mentioned with Puncheon, all Crystal Palace attackers will be playing their more advanced role on Sunday and should have plenty of chances on goal.

Romelu Lukaku – ($9,500) – Everton – Lukaku has gone scoreless in his last four games but will look to end his slump against his former team on Monday. West Brom has given up six goals in two home games so far this season against Chelsea and Manchester City. Everton has shown their ability to compete with the top teams and expect them to flex their muscles against West Brom.

Odion Ighalo – ($7,000) – Watford – Ighalo has scored three goals over his last two games and has formed a very strong partnership with Troy Deeney in attack. He has eight shots over those two games and scored 17+ points in each. Expect Ighalo to have secured his place in the starting eleven with Troy Deeney and both will be solid plays on Sunday.

Saido Berahino – ($6,500) – West Brom – Berahino made his second appearance since his transfer saga and scored his first goal of the season. He still was unable to play a full 90 minutes due to match fitness, but expect as the season continues he will continue to build a strong partnership with Jose Rondon and be more of a threat in attack.

Jose Rondon – ($5,500) – West Brom – As for Jose Rondon, he continued his decent start to the his Premier League career last weekend against Aston Villa. He was very unlucky to not score as he took six shots, four of which were on target in West Brom’s 1-0 win. Expect him and Berahino to start in attack against Everton on Monday and both will need to influence the attack if they want to pick up a win at home against a top half team.
