In Saturday’s EPL Targets I will be analyzing some of the best plays for this slate of games and point out some of the best values based on price. Also follow me on Twitter (@jwl_15) for injury and lineup updates throughout the weekend.

Asmir Begovic – ($3,600) – Chelsea – Begovic and Chelsea continue to struggle week in and week out, but expect them to bounce back in a big way this weekend. They face Stoke City who haven’t scored in their last two Premier League games and only have two goals over their last four. Despite Begovic’s struggles (five goals given up over the last two games), Stoke City should struggle to get anything going on Saturday and Chelsea should have growing confidence after a midweek Champions League win over Dinamo Kiev.

David de Gea – ($4,000) – Manchester United – de Gea continues to be one of the highest priced goalkeepers on DraftKings and for good reason. He earned his third clean sheet in a row midweek against CSKA Moscow, and he hasn’t given up a goal over his last three Premier League appearances. West Brom are better in attack than most give them credit for, but de Gea and the improving Manchester United defense should hold their own on Saturday.

Jack Butland – ($3,200) – Stoke City – Butland may not have the wins to show for it, but he has been one of the better goalkeepers in the Premier League this season. He leads the entire league with 46 saves on the season and has earned 14+ points in four of his last five games. Chelsea have only scored one goal in three of their last four games and their stars in attack continue to struggle. Butland has shown the ability to make saves so far this season and he will be required to do the same on Saturday.

Cedric Soares & Ryan Bertrand – ($3,200 & $2,900) – Southampton – Cedric along with fellow fullback, Ryan Bertrand, continue to be key parts to the Southampton attack. Both have the great ability to play key passes into dangerous areas for the likes of Saido Mane and Graziano Pelle. Both players earned double digit points last weekend, with Bertrand earning an assist as well. Sunderland are coming off a 6-2 defeat and we should expect Southampton to use Cedric and Bertrand on overlapping runs to creating chances for their dangerous attack.

Marcos Rojo – ($3,000) – Manchester United – After converting from central defender to a fullback due to injuries, Rojo looks to finally be coming into form. He has earned 12+ points in each of his last three starts, including an impressive 23 point performance midweek against CSKA Moscow. He played 12 crosses and add four shots, as he looked very influential in the Manchester United attack. As mentioned before, he has a solid matchup against West Brom on Saturday and should be able to continue his recent stretch of form.

Christian Fuchs – ($2,300) – Leicester City – Fuchs was held out of last weekends game due to precautionary reasons, but he should be available on Saturday. As mentioned in my article last, Fuchs was a guy who I thought would be a fantasy gem this season. After not playing early in the season, he has started three of the last four games for Leicester City. In each of those games he earned 10+ points and has averaged over six crosses per game. Leicester City have a decent matchup against Watford on Saturday and as long as Fuchs is in the starting lineup then he should have high ownership.

Martin Olsson – ($2,300) – Norwich City – Olsson returned to the starting lineup last weekend against Manchester City and played a wide midfield position. He put in a solid performance against a team that isn’t very forgiving to defenders or wide players. Olsson earned seven points on three crosses and one shot, giving him 11 crosses over his last two appearances. Although there is no guarantee he starts again, if given the opportunity then he should be considered especially in a favorable matchup at home against Swansea City.

Riyad Mahrez – ($7,400) – Leicester City – Mahrez scored his sixth and seventh goal of the season last weekend as he earned 37 fantasy points against West Brom. He continues to be one of the most consistent players each week, scoring at least 13 points in all but one game this season. He has two goals and two assists over his last three games and should be able to continue his success in a favorable matchup against Watford on Saturday.

Sadio Mane – ($6,900) – Southampton – Mane struggled to get involved in the game last weekend against Bournemouth, earning less than 10 points for only the third time this season. He has three goals and four assists on the season and has a very good matchup against Sunderland on Saturday. Sunderland gave up six goals to Everton last weekend and are struggling to find four consistent defenders to start each week. Expect Mane and Pelle to have plenty of chances to pad their stats on Saturday.

Willian – ($5,000) – Chelsea – Willian has been one of the few bright spots for Chelsea this season as he continually has saved them with his brilliant free kick goals. He scored a late stunner midweek in route to a 28 point performance. He has earned 15+ points in each of his last nine appearances and at this price he is a steal. He has 17 crosses over his last two games as well, proving that he doesn’t need to score to put up big numbers in fantasy.

Robbie Brady – ($4,200) – Norwich City – The debate between Nathan Redmond and Robbie Brady is a strong one, but I chose Brady for the fact that he has been one of the most consistent fantasy performers all season. He has earned double digit points in all but one game he has appeared in this season. He also is averaging over 12 crosses per game over his last four starts. Brady has a decent matchup against Swansea City at home and expect his numbers to continue as he searches for his second assist on the season.

Jamie Vardy – ($7,200) – Leicester City – I will be very brief with Vardy this weekend. He has scored in eight straight games now and should be considered in all lineups no matter the opponent. He is one of the hottest strikers in the world right now and expect his form to continue against Watford on Saturday.

Romelu Lukaku – ($7,200) – Everton- Lukaku followed up two very poor performances against Liverpool and Arsenal with a 28 point performance against Sunderland last weekend. He scored his sixth goal of the season and added his third and fourth assists in a 6-2 drubbing of Sunderland. Lukaku looks to be creating a solid partnership with Arouna Kone in attack and expect that partnership to be on display once again on Saturday against West Ham United who have conceded four goals over their last three games.

Odion Ighalo – ($5,400) – Watford – Ighalo has come out of nowhere to become one of the most consistent strikers in the Premier League this season. He has scored six goals so far, after seeing very little playing time over the first few weeks of the season. He has taken at least three shots in each of his last seven games, scoring all six of his goals over that same span of games. Expect him to have plenty of chances on Saturday against Leicester City who have conceded 19 times so far this season, 7th worst in the Premier League.

Steven Fletcher – ($3,900) – Sunderland – Fletcher continues to do what he is good at and that is score goals. He has scored in three of his last four starts, earning 16+ points in each of those games. He has a decent matchup against Southampton on Saturday but Sunderland must exploit Southampton’s weakness defensively at fullback.
