Erling Haaland ($9,700) – The reason Haaland is here is not just because of his proficiency in front of goal, but also because he is expected to start whereas Jadon Sancho ($10.200) may not. Sancho came off the bench in Dortmund’s previous game on Saturday. Haaland has scored 10 goals with two assists thus far and even scored in their 4-0 win over Schalke on Saturday.

Others to consider: Alassane Plea ($9,000)

Milot Rashica ($7,800) – Rashica did not have a great return to the Bundesliga. Apart from his team being thrashed by Bayern Leverkusen, Rashica also had an underwhelming 85 minutes on the pitch. He has enjoyed a solid season though, having scored five goals. He has also chipped in with five assists. Expect a much better, energetic performance this weekend.

Kai Havertz ($9,100) – Havertz helped Leverkusen reignite their season with a brace last weekend against Werder Bremen. With some injuries around, Havertz slotted into the solitary striker position. His brace took his season tally to eight goals. Havertz should continue in that position with Kevin Volland still out.

Others to consider: Jadon Sancho ($10,200)

Thorgan Hazard ($8,400) – Hazard showcased his nimble footwork and composure in front of goal in a rather comfortable win against Schalke. He scored with a sensational strike from just outside the box in a 1v1 situation just after halftime. Even if he doesn’t score on Saturday, he should still add some contributory value.

Mitchell Weiser ($4,800) – Leverkusen has been a solid defensive team. They have conceded just 31 goals so far in 26 games, at an average of just over one goal a game. You can add differentiation to your team by opting for an attacking defender because they have a higher probability of contributing offensively too. Weiser also scored last weekend.

Lukasz Piszczek ($4,200) – Piszczek’s DKFP isn’t too flashy (6.2 fantasy points per game). However, Dortmund is one of the best defensive teams in the Bundesliga. They have conceded 33 goals so far, and are also coming into this game on the back of a clean sheet in their previous game. Against Wolfsburg, Piszczek and Dortmund might add to that tally.

Oliver Baumann ($5,300) – Baumann is a strategic pick based on Hoffenheim’s upcoming opponents. Paderborn is currently last in the Bundesliga, with just four wins in 26 games so far. Hoffenheim is placed ninth in the league. The mismatch is stark. That might lead to a clean sheet for Hoffenheim.

Others to consider: Lukas Hradecky ($4,700).
