The Saturday evening slate brings us a nice little 7 game grouping where basically all 7 stand out as usable options.  The Butler-Creighton game is expected to be the highest scoring game of the night so we will definitely want to have a piece of it as the score could end up in the 160’s when all is said and done. Florida is actually expected to be the second highest scoring team of the night and that is a bit surprising as it’s been a long time since Florida has been a high scoring team.  Let’s take a look at who we should be targeting tonight!

Guard

Studs

Denzel Valentine ($9,900) – To me this just feels like a “Hey guys, jump on my back” type of game for Valentine as MSU is struggling and now they take on Maryland.  They get to play this game at home and I think the crowd’s going to be pretty intense and this game could have a NCAA tournament atmosphere as Valentine and MSU try to right the ship.

Tra Holder ($7,100) – I am being brave and going back to the Holder well for this game as he really, really burned me Thursday night.  I expect him to snap out of his shooting funk some time soon and what better night than tonight to do so!  He has put up just 36.5 fantasy points over the last two games after having gone for 30+ in his previous 8 games.

Isaiah Zierden ($6,500) – Zierden is coming off of a monster game in which he knocked down 8 three point shots en route to 42.5 fantasy points.  Creighton is expected to be the highest scoring team of the slate and I want the hot hand.  He is not afraid to let it fly from three point land and we just saw what can happen when he gets hot.

Nate Mason ($6,100) – Mason is so tough to predict, however that makes him a great GPP option as he exploded last game for 37.25 fantasy points and kept Minnesota in the game all by himself.  This game is actually expected to be the second highest scoring game of the night, which surprised me a little bit. I think Mason ends up on the team that takes down the GPP’s tonight!

Other Options – Roosevelt Jones ($8,400), Malcolm Hill ($8,300), Maurice Watson Jr ($7,600)

Values

Rasheed Sulaimon ($5,700) – I really like Sulaimon here as he really disappointed everybody in the last game as he managed to play 41 minutes and put up just 5.75 fantasy points.  I am not quite sure how you play so many minutes for a major college basketball program and not find your way into more statistics.  I think people are going to be off of him in this one and I can see a 35+ fantasy point game out of him as he bounces back.

KeVaughn Allen ($5,400) – I am not sure what Allen has to do to see his price rise, but I guess I shouldn’t complain.  I really wish this game was part of the earlier slate for the Storm the Court GPP. Allen has gone for 70.75 fantasy points over the last two games for Florida.  Florida is expected to be the second highest scoring team of the night and I think that makes Allen a no-brainer for our lineups.

Marcus Sheffield ($4,700) – Sheffield has seen his minutes rise steadily recently and has put up back to back 22.5+ fantasy point performances for Stanford.  He contributes in almost every category and is coming off of a career high 17 points in the last game.  I definitely wish he was still around $4K, however I still think $4.7K is a price we can pay for him tonight.

Jordan Gathers ($3,400) – Gathers is expected to step into the starting lineup in place of Tyler Lewis, who suffered a concussion on Thursday.  Gathers has shown a high of 22.75 fantasy points over his last ten games and could certainly be a surprise GPP option that allows us to get Valentine in our lineups.

Other Options – Sam Singer ($5,600), George King ($5,500), Carlos Morris ($5,200), Paris Jackson-Cartwright ($4,900), Dupree McBrayer ($4,000)

Forward

Studs

Josh Scott ($9,800) – I am really looking forward to the match-up within the match-up as we get to see Josh Scott go up against Josh Hawkinson in a game that is expected to see around 150 points scored and should stay pretty close all the way.  Scott is extremely efficient, has put up 5 straight double-doubles and showed last game that he is capable of putting up big fantasy points (44) while taking just 9 shots.  I really wish he was more demanding on the offensive end, as the guy has an impressive game down low.

Dorian Finney-Smith ($8,000) – I certainly wish DFS was still around $7500, however this match-up is very juicy for DFS and the Gators as Auburn just does not have the kind of athletes needed to stop him.  He has gone for 3 straight double-doubles and is coming off of a 41.25 fantasy point performance his last time out.

Robert Carter ($7,500) – Carter is playing some really good basketball for Maryland right now and has basically been their most consistent player up to this point in the season.  He put up 37.5 fantasy points his last time out while taking just 5 shots from the field.  He has put up a double-double in 2 out of his last 4 games and is shooting the ball extremely well.

Kelan Martin ($6,800) – Martin has posted back to back double-doubles for Butler and has put up 74.25 fantasy points in those two games.  Martin has big time ability but he can disappear at times and that makes it hard to trust him.  The way he is playing right now I would expect it to continue and we could see another 40+ fantasy point performance.

Other Options – Josh Hawkinson ($8,900), Jaylen Brown ($7,800), Tyler Harris ($7,600), Cinmeon Bowers ($7,300), Kaleb Tarczewski ($6,700), Rosco Allen ($6,700)

Values

Obinna Oleka ($5,600) – Oleka struggled from the field on Thursday night but still ended up posting 25 fantasy points which was just 2 points under what he needed to get 5x on his price.  His price went up $200 so we will need 28 points out of him in a match-up that should be a little bit easier on him. Stanford’s interior is not as dominant as Arizona’s and even though they are a solid team, they tend to foul a bit in the paint and Oleka could see a nice game tonight.

Justin Leon ($3,700) – Leon’s price dropped $100 coming into this match-up and he becomes even more of a must consider now.  He put up 19 fantasy points the last time out and has a recent high of 25.75 fantasy points.  If Florida was part of the big Storm the Court GPP on the early slate, I think he would be an extremely popular pick.

Javon Bess ($3,600) – Bess is here as a possible fill-in should Costello miss the game as he is questionable as of right now.  Bess played 20 minutes in the last game and while he didn’t go off, he still managed to put up 12.75 fantasy points without scoring any game points.  Should he see similar court time, I think he could find his way to the 16-20 point range thanks to a put back or two.

Robert Franks ($3,000) – If you are looking for a min priced play then Franks is your guy as he has seen an increase in minutes and has gone for 13, 14 and 16 fantasy points over the last three games while playing about 19 minutes per game.  If you really need the savings, I think Franks could be a delightful addition to your GPP lineup, especially if it allows you to roster Valentine and Scott.

Other Options – Mike Thorne Jr. ($5,100), Deyonta Davis ($5,100), Cole Huff ($4,800), Zach Hanson ($4,100)
