Sunday is here and we get 8 games to work with on the all-day slate, highlighted by the Utah-USC tilt that should be the highest scoring game of the day and most likely will be the only one over 150 points. Some value plays have opened up for Wake Forest due to a suspension and dismissal so it will be a matter of figuring out what kind of lineup they are going to run with.  Let’s take a look at who we should be considering and as always, hit me up on Twitter (@Razzle11Grinds) with any questions you may have!

Guard

Studs

Malcolm Hill (8,500) – As far as today’s slate goes, we may not find anybody with a higher usage rate as Hill is basically the Illinois offense as he may end up taking 15+ shots from the field, plus 10+ from the FT line.  Hill has hit the boards solidly recently as he has 45 rebounds over his last 4 games.  The match-up is not ideal, however Illinois isn’t going to get shut out in this one and I actually think Hill is going to go under owned.

Nic Moore (8,000) – Moore has shown us a 50 fantasy point upside recently and the last time these two teams faced off he went for 32.75 while scoring just 6 game points.  He saw 34 minutes of action in a blowout in that game and SMU is expected to blow them out again today.  Moore was able to feed his beg men for 12 assists the last time and I think at worst we can expect to see a game similar to the last one.

Fred Van Vleet (7,900) – Van Vleet has been one of my favorite plays over the last couple of seasons and he takes on an Indiana St team that he went for 47 fantasy points against earlier this season.  That game was not close at all and with this one being on the road for Wichita St, I think it could play a bit closer which is always a positive thing for our stud players.

Eli Carter (7,500) – Carter has taken 47 shots over the last three games and will continue to be the main offensive option for BC in a game that suddenly became one that they could win with the dismissal of Hudson and suspension of Thomas of Wake Forest.

Other Options – Jordan McLaughlin (7700), Quenton DeCosey (7600), Bryant Crawford (7400), Zak Irvin (6800), Devonte Brown (6600)

Values

Bronson Koenig (5,900) – I can’t believe I am actually recommending Koenig.  He has regressed quite a bit since last year and I am just not sure what the deal is with him.  With that said, he is starting to hit some shots from beyond the arc and has started to turn up his scoring for the Badgers.  There are a lot of people out there have been burned by Koenig so his ownership % should be pretty low.

Brandon Taylor (5,700) – Might as well stick to the theme of guys that I would not think I would be recommending as I have a personal vendetta against Taylor as he really cost me late last season and then he started out this year absolutely terribly.  He has turned it around a bit and has gone for 79.75 fantasy points over his last three games.  Utah gets a nice tempo boost in this one today, so the added possessions can only increase his upside.

Que Johnson (4,800) – Johnson should continue to see a usage increase if Callison is forced to miss this game as well.  Johnson has gone for 74.75 fantasy points over the last three games and Washington St is going to need all the scoring they can get in order to keep this one close at home.

Sammy Barnes-Thompkins (4,300) – SBT has been a popular value play for a couple of weeks now and while his price has finally climbed a bit, he has been able to put up 18+ fantasy points in four out of his last five games.  Today’s match-up is by far the best of his most recent games and I think he is an auto-lock in your lineups.

Other Options – Sterling Brown (5800), Jordan Mathews (5500), Everett Clemons (5200), Galen Robinson Jr. (4800), LeRon Barnes (4600), D.J. Williams (3900)

Forward

Studs

Jaylen Brown (8,000) – Brown has a pretty sweet match-up as WSU doesn’t have anybody with his kind of athleticism on the wing.  Brown has gone for 30+ fantasy points in six of his last seven games for Cal and today should make that seven times in eight games.

Ben Moore (7,200) – Moore has gone for 95.75 fantasy points over his last three games and the last time these two teams met, Moore went for 36.5 fantasy points and really dominated the inside.  SMU is going to run away with this game and if its similar to the first meeting, a TON of that is going to come from the interior.

Diamond Stone (6,700) – Stone dominated the interior the first time that he faced off with Michigan and I think he comes into this game humbled and motivated after his one game suspension.  I believe that he is going to step back into his normal role and he should have himself a solid game.  Maryland is expected to be one of the top few teams in terms of scoring today.

Jaylen Bond (6,100) – Bond has a couple of monster games recently and should be in line for something similar after a very tough game against Villanova in which he managed just 14.75 fantasy points.  Temple is going to look to avenge a 27 point loss the last time these two teams met and they really need Wins to finish out the season.

Other Options – Nigel Hayes (8100), Ethan Happ (7600), Robert Carter (7300), Kyle Kuzma (6900), Dennis Clifford (6100)

Values

Konstantinos Mitoglou (5,800) – We get Mitoglou at a $1000 price increase after the news of Devin Thomas’ suspension and the dismissal of Cornelius Hudson.  Mitoglou has not bee the same player this season as he was last, however I think he sees a very nice usage bump here and should see a rebounding increase as well.  I really wish he was still around $5K, so this price increase will keep me from going all in on him.

Jordan Loveridge (5,800) – Loveridge has really stepped his game up recently for Utah and has shown us 35 fantasy point upside.  Loveridge has gone for 24+ fantasy points in 4 straight games and has scored 14+ game points in those 4 straight.  Utah gets a pretty solid tempo boost in this one so I believe I will be getting a few pieces of their attack.

Obi Enechionyia (5,100) – Obi has gone for 22+ fantasy points in six of his last seven games and while I think I prefer Bond, Obi has played extremely well and might be the better cash game option in this game.  Temple should see an increase in possessions and Obi is not afraid to put up some shots, with around half of them coming from three point land.

Other Options – Maverick Morgan (5300), Kameron Rooks (4700), Vitto Brown (5000), Doral Moore (4700), John Collins (4600)
