Welcome to Saturday as we get an 11 game slate to work with to begin our day. This is surprisingly expected to be a somewhat lower scoring slate as far as game totals. There is plenty of money out there to be won as we have some excellent GPP’s to get into so let’s take a look at who we should be considering and as always, hit me up on twitter (@Razzle11Grinds)!
Brandon Ingram (9,400) – Ingram put up a solid double-double the last time these two teams met and I think he puts up another one in this game today. He has taken 43 shots over the last time games and there should be a few shots available with Jones being injured. I would expect Ingram to be extremely active on the offensive end as he should end up with either somebody a lot smaller than him or a lot less athletic.
Retin Obasohan (7,900) – Obasohan is coming off of a 47.5 fantasy point performance and has put up 14+ shots in 7 of the last 10 games for Bama. The last time these two teams met he went for 50.25 fantasy points. Obasohan is basically the entire Alabama offense as they rely so heavily on him to score as well as draw the defense away from guys like Norris and Hale/Taylor.
Trevon Bluiett (7,700) – Bluiett went for 42.5 fantasy points the last time he faced off with Georgetown and while he has struggled a bit recently, he is coming off of a solid 32.5 point game. Xavier is expected to be one of the top scoring teams of the slate and Bluiett should be their leading scorer when all is said and done.
Josh Hart (7,700) – Hart has really struggled recently as he has gone for just 66.5 fantasy points over his last three games. Villanova is expected to be the highest scoring team of the slate and Hart put up a 22 and 11 double-double the last time these two met. Hart may go under owned due to his recent performance and that makes me happy.
Other Options – Roosevelt Jones (8100), Charles Cooke (7900), Jaylen Adams (7900), Isaiah Taylor (7600), Luke Kennard (6300), Myles Davis (6100)
Duane Wilson (5,700) – I think Wilson is going to very low owned today and I will definitely have him in some places as he went for 31 the last time these two teams met and is coming off of a 26.5 fantasy point performance. Marquette is expected to win a close one on the road here, so there is always the threat of OT happening.
KeVaughn Allen (5,500) – I am sure you are shocked to see me with Allen here right? I can’t remember the last time I didn’t list Allen here. We finally see a price increase on Allen, however it’s not enough to make me even hesitate in this match-up. Allen has put up 25 shots over the last two games with 14 of those coming from three, which is where teams have been able to really beat the South Carolina defense this season.
Matthew Fisher-Davis (4,900) – MFD has been shooting the ball very well for Vandy over the last few games as he has gone for 82.5 fantasy points over the last three games while shooting 13 of 27 from beyond the arc. While Georgia has a very solid defense, they do give up a larger % of points from behind the three point line and that is where MFD excels.
Other Options – Davon Reed (5400), Riley Norris (5400), Haanif Cheatham (5200), Justin Coleman (4700), Donovan Mitchell (4700), Chris Jones (4500)
Brice Johnson (9,900) – I look for Brice to show up in this one and do a lot of damage coming off of the extremely painful loss against Duke. Brice dominated the first 30 minutes of the game and then the offense started jacking up random jumpers and he just never got any post touches.
Michael Carrera (7,900) – I love Carrera’s upside and he has gone for 30+ fantasy points in 9 straight games for South Carolina. I would love to see Carrera consistently put up 14+ shots as he is extremely efficient when he does get his shots up. He is definitely one of my favorite options for cash games and he has the upside you like to see for your GPP lineups as well.
Chinanu Onuaku (7,700) – I am all over Onuaku again in this one as he really paid off against Syracuse in the last game and now he gets to take on the ultra weak interior of Duke, while playing at home in this one. Onuaku definitely doesn’t have Brice Johnson’s ability, however he should be able to dominate the glass. The big fear is Onuaku finding himself in foul trouble.
Jamel Artis (7,000) – We know that somebody is going to rack up the rebounds in this game for Pittsburgh and my pick to do that is Artis. Artis’ best game of the season came the last time these two teams met and while I have been frustrated by him almost the whole season, I have to let that not cloud my judgement here as the match-up is just really nice.
Other Options – Henry Ellenson (9300), Kelan Martin (8200), Gavin Ware (7800), Dyshawn Pierre (7300), Tyler Lydon (6500), Johnathan Motley (6300)
Jessie Govan (5,300) – Govan is coming off of a monster game as he went for 44.25 fantasy points and while I do not think he approaches that kind of a game in this one, I think he has the ability to get us 25+ as he takes over for the injured Hayes. He did go for 25 the last time these two met and the only thing that worries me is his foul issues.
Connor Lammert (4,600) – I like Lammert as a sneaky GPP play going up against the zone of Baylor as the best game that Lammert has put up over his last ten is the last one against Baylor in which he went for 28.25 fantasy points. Lammert has put up 16 three point shots over the last 3 games for the Longhorns.
Deng Adel (3,500) – There is talk that Adel enters the starting lineup in this game and if that is the case I want to be all over him at just $3.5K. We saw what he did the last time he found himself in the starting lineup and while we probably can’t expect 30+, I think we could see 18-22 from him and that pays off his price point.
Other Options – Jeff Roberson (4900), Marcus Derrickson (4800), Jimmie Taylor (4600), Justin Leon (4000)
