I hope everybody had a great weekend as Monday is here and while we are back to our offices, we get a 4 game slate with a couple of really nice match-ups to look forward to tonight.  The highlight of the night will be the UNC-Louisville match-up as Louisville is coming off of a loss while UNC had an easy game over the weekend.  Let’s take a look at who we should be considering and make sure you hit me up on Twitter (@Razzle11Grinds) with any questions you may have!

Anthony Barber ($9,200) – Barber has alternated 50+ fantasy point games recently and if you follow that pattern, that means tonight he is up for another one tonight against FSU.  Barber is also coming off of a very solid 37.75 point performance against a very good Miami team.  While NC State is supposed to be one of the lowest scoring teams of the slate, they, along with 6 others, are expected to put up 70+.

Dwayne Bacon ($7,500) – I like Bacon in this match-up even though I expect Beasley to be higher owned as he is $200 cheaper and had a lot better performance against NC State the last time these two teams met.  I just like the way Bacon has been hitting the glass recently and has shown higher upside over the last few games.  I do like Beasley as well, however this is one spot I want to be a little contrarian in order to differentiate on this small slate.

Damion Lee ($7,500) – Lee is definitely a GPP option as he has the upside but he also offers us a pretty pedestrian floor.  He does have 4 games in the teens over the last 10 but he also has a high of 46.75 over that span as well.  Louisville is favored to win according to KenPom and they should score 75+ in this one so I want one of their shooters that is capable of getting hot as UNC is traditionally beaten by three point shooters.

Other Options – Nic Moore ($7,600), Joel Berry II ($6,900), Sterling Brown ($6,400), Rob Gray Jr. ($6,400)

Devon Bookert ($5,400) – Bookert has really stepped up for FSU and has gone for 22+ fantasy points in 5 of his last 6 games.  Against a very tough Louisville team he went for 35.75 fantasy points and I think this game offers similar upside for him.  He went for 24.5 the last time these two teams met, which seemed to really get Bookert going.  I think he is a cheap way to get exposure to the team expected to put up the most points of the slate.

Kerwin Roach Jr. ($5,000) – I am not sure what to make of Roach’s recent performance as he has really exploded over the last two games as he has put up 78.5 fantasy points.  Roach was a big time recruit and definitely has a future, however he had really been a roller coaster all season long and at times played in the single digits in terms of minutes.  With such a small slate, we have to consider riding the hot hand, even if it is against a tough opponent.

L.J. Rose ($3,000) – I am putting L.J. here in case he finally gets to return to the court.  I know a bunch of CBB guys have been waiting for him to return and he was supposed to be back in early January but that keeps being pushed back.  I can not find anything definitive one way or the other at this point so we need to keep him in mind as the day goes on.

Other Options – Caleb Martin ($5,100), Quentin Snider ($5,000), Eric Davis Jr. ($4,100)

Brice Johnson ($9,800) – Johnson has an extremely tough match-up however the positive is the fact that the Louisville big men can get into foul trouble early in this game trying to keep up with him.  He went for 40.25 in the last game against a very weak BC team and went for 51+ in the two games prior to that.  I can see the masses going more balanced in their lineups which could make Johnson a bit of a contrarian play.

Abdul-Malik Abu ($7,500) – Abu has really grown since last year and has been playing extremely well and actually went for 46.75 fantasy points against FSU the first time they played this season and I just do not see anybody down low that can bang with Abu for FSU.  He has gone for 26+ fantasy points in every game since that one, so I feel like he is a pretty safe option to get us 30+ tonight.

Other Options – Taurean Prince ($7,800), Jordan Tolbert ($7,500), Markus Kennedy ($7,400)

Johnathan Motley ($5,800) – Motley has struggled with foul trouble over the last two games but he managed to put up 22 fantasy points in just 14 minutes of action the last time out.  I love his upside and I like the match-up for him much more than I like the match-up for Ibeh in this game.  I think both make great GPP options at this price point though.

Danrad Knowles ($4,500) – Knowles has gone for 23+ in 3 of his last 4 games with a high of 27, which coincidentally came against the same opponent as he faces tonight.  Knowles has always had ridiculous upside but he generally has always been an under achiever.  Knowles played 44 minutes the last time out so I feel like his minutes have been secured at this point in the season.

Deng Adel ($3,500) – If the UNC-Louisville game goes as I think it might, Adel may be needed to play bigger minutes again as the front line could find themselves in some foul troubles, plus Onuaku has been ill lately.  Adel is coming off of a 21 minute game in which he put up 18.25 fantasy points.  This is an extreme GPP play that could pay off for both the salary relief and with double digit fantasy points.

Other Options – Prince Ibeh ($5,900), Connor Lammert ($4,600), Lennard Freeman ($4,100)
