Merry Christmas to you guys out there in reader-land!  I hope you guys have a great day, enjoy every second with your family and friends.  Make sure you have yourself seconds and thirds as its tough to beat a holiday feast!  To go along with all the family and food we get a 4 game CBB slate to wash down all those treats with.  Let’s take a look at some of the players we should be targeting!

Kyle Collinsworth (10,300) – With such a small slate it is going to be very tough to not use Collinsworth as he has the highest upside of anybody on this slate and also offers us the safest floor as he just seems to coast his way to mid-30’s in terms of fantasy points.  I am looking forward to this match-up as this game should be extremely close and should go back and forth.  Look for Collinsworth to approach another triple-double in this one.

Buddy Hield (8,800) – If you are going to fade Collinsworth then I think you have to look to have Hield in your lineups.  Hield is the best scorer on this slate and is currently shooting the ball extremely well as he has scored 115 game points over the last 4 games while shooting 36 for 66.  Hield has made 21 threes over his last 5 games as well.

Wes Washpun (8,400) – Washpun is capable of putting up huge games as evidenced by UNI’s big win over Iowa St recently as he put up 56.75 fantasy points in that game.  Washpun is a poor man’s Collinsworth as he is capable of approaching a triple-double.  He is not the best outside shooter and he does have a tendency to turn the ball over quite a bit, so that kind of concerns me.

Other Options – Kareem Canty (8200), Elijah Brown (8200), Roderick Bobbitt (8200)

Isaac Fleming (5,400) – Fleming fouled out the last game in just 20 minutes and really put up a dud in terms of fantasy performances go.  Fleming had gone for 31+ fantasy points in 4 of the previous 5 games and this game is projected to be the highest scoring one of the day.

Ogunwa Okolie (4,800) – Okolie has put up 47.5 fantasy points over his last two games which is basically what he needs to return 5x on his salary.  Harvard is expected to score the least amount on this day, however it is tough to ignore their prices.  If you are making multiple lineups I would mix in different value plays from Harvard as I would assume a couple of them should hit value.

Corey Johnson (4,600) – Johnson shoots over 40% from three and appears to be willing to fire up double digit three point attempts in a game.  He has put up 70.5 fantasy points over his last 3 games and that more than pays off his current price tag.  If Johnson gets hot from 3, we would be looking at a 30-35 fantasy point performance.

Other Options – Patrick Steeves (4900), Quincy Smith (4800), Zac Seljaas (4200)

Josh Hawkinson (8,300) – Hawkinson is Wash St’s best player and the game is supposed to be close while offering us a total in the 150’s.  He has put up 6 straight double-doubles and should have his way on the glass in this one, which should allow him to make it 7 straight double-doubles.  Hawkinson does not offer us huge upside, however he offers us a pretty safe floor of around 30 points with a ceiling of about 45.

Tyler Harris (7,300) – I really like Harris today as he has really struggled with foul trouble over the last few games and that could keep his ownership numbers lower than they should be.  Harris had been awesome as a transfer and showed us a 50 fantasy point ceiling earlier this season.  This game is expected to be the highest scoring of the day/night and you will want to make sure to have a couple pieces of the game.

Stefan Jankovic (6,900) – Jankovic takes the most shots of anybody on Hawaii and that is something that really comes into play in this game as Hawaii is expected to put up the most points on the day. Jankovic played extremely well in the loss to Oklahoma last night and this match-up should be slightly easier.

Other Options – Kyle Davis (8000), Tim Williams (7900), Zena Edosomwan (7900)

Obij Aget (4,700) – Aget is coming off of a game in which he struggled with foul trouble, however he has shown 32+ fantasy point upside on a couple of occasions this season.  The only thing that scares me is that he could certainly find himself in foul trouble in this one as he takes on Hawkinson.  This is definitely a GPP play as he offers excellent upside with a pretty low floor.

Khadeem Lattin (4,600) – Lattin is coming off of a 33 fantasy point performance and three games ago he had 27.75 fantasy points which tells me he is starting to become more and more involved in the offense as he has always brought energy on the defensive end of the floor.

Stefan Jovanovic (3,900) – Initially I was caught off guard by the fact that Hawaii has Stefan Jankovic and Stefan Jovanovic but now that I have realized they are different people I have come to understand that both of them are solid plays tonight.  Jovanovic offers 30 fantasy point upside and could be a really good GPP chance to take should the starting lineup run into foul trouble in the front court as we saw him get 28 minutes of action against UNI.

Other Options – Evan Cummins (5200), Horace Spencer (4200), Valentine Izundu (4100), Klint Carlson (3500), Derrien King (3000)
