About:
The 2019 Season Schedule features 6 weight divisions and 10 fight events: 6 regular season events, 3 playoff events and the 2019 World Championship.
The regular season begins in May and runs through August, with each event taking place on a Thursday night. Each fighter fights twice during the regular season, earning points based on their results. The top-8 in the standings for each division at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs.
The single-elimination playoffs take place in October, featuring the PFL's unique fight-twice, win-twice format, with the quarterfinals and semifinals for each division taking place on the same night.
For the second year in a row, the PFL's World Championship will take place on New Year's Eve. Once again, the PFL will create one of the biggest nights in MMA history: six title fights on one card, with the winner of each earning $1 million in prize money and being crowned 2019 World Champion.
