The goal for category breaks is simplicity and efficiency. To know which category of collectibles you are due to receive from the live pack break, look no further than the title of the break ticket collectible purchased at auction. Every break ticket collectible name will include the specific category associated with that ticket. It will also be referred to in more detail in the break ticket collectible’s description.

If the break tickets are randomized, then users will be buying a ticket to a specific break, not to a specific category. During the break, the categories will be randomized into an order 1 through n, and whichever edition number ticket a user holds, they will receive that category as it corresponds to the random order. For example, if Golfer Specialties are randomized and the order is 1. Chipper, 2. Green Reader, 3. Bomber, 4. Pin Seeker, then the holder of edition #1/4 will receive the Chipper category, #2/4 the Green Reader Category, and so on.

Every pack break ticket sold that is under the categories break type will come with a pack or collectible, that is guaranteed no matter the outcome of the break event. This guarantee will always be stated clearly in the Pack Break ticket auction item when applicable. Packs that are opened in a category break format are no different than those found on the Drops page. Which means there is a wide range of possibilities as to what can come out of a group of packs. While it is not likely to happen, there is a possibility that a specific category for any given break could have no collectibles revealed belonging to that category, in which case the owner of those tickets will walk away with only what's guaranteed for that particular break.
